He was born in Ankara in 1963. He completed his education in TED Karabük College (1969-1979), Istanbul Faculty of Medicine (1979-1983), and GATA Faculty of Medicine (1983-1985). Between 1988-1993, he completed his specialty education in GATA Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Department. He became an associate professor in 1999 and a professor in 2005 in this clinic. In the meantime, he worked at Cleveland Clinic Plastic Surgery Department for 1 year between 1997-1998. Simultaneously, he continued his private studies in his own “Belis Aesthetic Surgery and Laser Center” in Ankara since 2001. Since September 2007, he has started to do surgeries abroad. He continued his private works in Europlast Aesthetics in Istanbul between September 2009 and December 2014. Dr. Türegün, at the same time, Hand Surgery; He also has two “minor specialization diplomas” in the minor branches of Oral, Maxillofacial and Face Surgery. Prof. Dr. Murat Türegün has 79 articles, 141 papers and 41 conference-panel speeches in Turkey and abroad.
